Lucid Spec is definitely superior to the Visio and MS-Word combination that I used before. It provides the best way for me to get my GUI specifications done quickly and clearly!

I am glad to see a product as useful as this one. It has enabled our company to design and/or modify GUI specifications more quickly and efficiently and with the simulation 'see' the desired functions/actions. An added bonus is the ease of creating supporting documentation in the same application.

The cost savings of all the back and forth time between our design and development teams has paid for Lucid Spec many times over. I was thrilled to have discovered it; an excellent design and communications tool with no programming required.

Using a tool like Lucid Spec has allowed our marketing team to identify potential problems like navigation issues, confusing interfaces and missing content early in the process. This has helped us avoid costly change orders with our outside software developers. These savings easily offset the cost of Lucid Spec on the first project.

I've used Lucid Spec since almost the beginning. Each new version is a giant step forward. I have found many ways to use Lucid Spec from interactive specifications for analysts to end user presentations via web conferencing. It has never let me down and I constantly find new uses for it. It executes as advertised - improved specifications and faster requirements gathering.

Our company has started on a major project and even though we had created a crude rough prototype in Visual Studio .NET to demonstrate the desired user interface, Visual Studio, as great as it is, is just not the correct tool for storyboarding user interfaces. After downloading Lucid Spec, I was able to create a screen in about 10 minutes with documentation. This is important, especially since we are using offshore developers. I am very happy with this utility and I now consider this a crucial part of my developer toolkit.

As a system designer with a large government agency, I always been looking for a more dynamic and efficient way of preparing application specifications. Graduating from the pencil and paper based world of spec sheets, I struggled with PC-based tools that were either all-purpose graphical design or dedicated web-page design solutions. It is exactly what I had always wished a specification design package would be. I am now working my way through the tutorial and feel confident that acquiring this product will make specification work easier, more productive, and yield better results than anything I had done previously.
