You can modify the properties of the Screen when no Widgets are selected. You can modify the properties of a Widget after the Widget is added to the Screen.
| 1. | Make sure the Design Tab is selected for the Screen. |
| 2. | Select the Widget to modify by left-clicking the Widget. Similarly, you can update the properties of multiple Widgets by selecting multiple Widgets. |
| 3. | Use the Properties Panel to update the properties for the Widget. If multiple Widgets are selected, then only the properties shared by all selected Widgets are available in the Properties Panel. |

Editing Properties directly
You can modify certain properties of a Widget by double-clicking the mouse on the Widget. This will display a dialog box or put the Widget into edit mode. In edit mode, you can directly manipulate certain properties. For instance, you can directly edit the text for a Button Widget.
For certain simple text Widgets (Radio button, Button, Textbox, etc.), you can modify the text by selecting the Widget and then typing. This also puts the Widget into edit mode.
