C-Sharpener For VB is not an Open Source project. However, as a service to the developer community, we will convert any Visual Basic .NET Open Source project for free! We only ask that you add a brief notice to the Open Source project indicating that C-Sharpener For VB was used for the conversion.

To have your Open Source project converted:

  1. Verify that the project is truly an Open Source project. To qualify, the project must be available on a public website and must use one of the approved OSI licenses.

  2. Email opensource@elegancetech.com with the following information:

    • Your name and email address
    • The URL to the existing open source project
    • The URL to where the converted project will be hosted
    • Indicate whether you want us to email the project back to you or FTP it to a location you specify

  3. Once the project is reviewed and determined to meet the criteria for an Open Source project, we will initiate the conversion process with C-Sharpener For VB. We will place the following required notice in the project documentation and source code:
    Notice: This project was converted from VB .NET to C# by C-Sharpener For VB (www.CSharpenerForVB.com).

    Although it is optional, we would appreciate if the following graphic and link were added to the converted project website:

  4. We will return the project to you by the method you specified in Step 1. You are still likely to have some conversion work to do, but most of it (typically 99%) should be done.

  5. Please notify us at opensource@elegancetech.com after you have completed the conversion and posted the C# project. We may post your URL on our website so that developers can easily find the project and so we do not duplicate conversions.
